We are looking for a talented ASP.NET developer who is dedicated to his craft, writes code that is proud of and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast code to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our service in meaningful ways. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
Responsibilities
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and produce releases of application components.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Desired Skills and Experience
Required
- Working experience on C#, ASP.NET 4+, LINQ, T-SQL
- Experience in developing web applications
- Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Analysis and Design techniques
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
- Enthusiasm and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
Desirable (in order of appearance)
- NET MVC 5
- Front-end web technologies (AngularJS, JavaScript, AJAX ,JQuery, HTM5, CSS3)
- Entity Framework
- Messaging and communication technologies (WCF, ASP.NET Web API, OAuth 2)
- SQL on Azure
- Experience with Azure development.
- BDD or TDD techniques
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
